The Page, An American Bistro at 2920 10th St. in Great Bend, lives up to its name with its tempting menu and full bar. When The Page hosted Thursday’s Great Bend Chamber Coffee, General Manager Jadon Ward provided some details.
“If you’ve ever eaten here, you’d know that there’s something on the menu for even the pickiest eater. And if you haven’t eaten here, what are you waiting for?” she asked.
The bar recently added a new drink menu, with at least 20 new concoctions.
“There’s even one named after me in there; it’s a mix of Kahlúa, Baileys, Frangelico and milk. I call it the Jay’s Way. But the Jay’s Way to me means much more than just a drink, and my way is simple: Leave everyone feeling important, from my employees to every guest that walks in the door.”
The Page has 35 employees and supports the community whenever it can, she continued. Often they donate gift cards that can be used in connection with charitable events.
They share a building with Perkins Restaurant but operate independently, with separate kitchens. Ward said rather than “sister” businesses, she thinks of them as “cousins.”
There are banquet rooms at the back of the restaurant, available for Christmas parties and other events.
“You can join us any Tuesday for our all-day taco special ... paired with the $6 margaritas that day. The best thing about our menu is that we love running specials, so there always may be something new.” She noted that all of their sauces and dips are made from scratch.
Thursday’s greeters were Heather Lamb from Peoples Bank & Trust and Tarynn Kirmer from Stueder Contractors. Charell Owings from United Way of Central Kansas handled the welcome and introduction.
After the coffee, Chamber Ambassadors traveled to the office of Dr. Larry Kutina, DDS, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, celebrating 100 years of family dentistry.
