Great Bend Emergency Medical Service made seven ambulance runs Thursday.

Great Bend Fire responded to a report of smoke in the area at 6:27 p.m. in rural Barton County. The tree line had caught on fire and was extinguished.

A theft from a motor vehicle was reported at 10:02 a.m. Thursday in the 2500 block of 11th St.

A burglary not in progress or criminal trespassing was reported at 2:35 p.m. at 813 Monroe St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:40 p.m. at Broadway Ave. and McKinley St. 

Criminal damages were reported at 7:09 p.m. in the 1600 block of Odell St. 

K-9 Menta was utilized in a traffic stop at 11:59 p.m. at Casey’s General Store, 2716 10th St. 

Barton County Sheriff

A case of fraud was reported at 2:08 p.m. Thursday at 152 SW 50 Road, Great Bend.

An injury crash was reported at 2:42 p.m. at East U.S. 56 and East Barton County Road, Ellinwood.

An injury crash was reported at 4:37 p.m. at East U.S. 56 and E. Barton County, Ellinwood.

A traffic arrest was executed at 11:34 p.m. at Casey’s General Store, 2716 10th St., Great Bend.
