United Way of Central Kansas, in partnership with Walnut Bowl and Mini Golf announces the launch of a new Charity Bowling League — a community-driven event where fun meets purpose.
Kicking off in October, the league invites teams of 3–4 bowlers to compete every other Monday for 12 weeks of friendly competition — all while raising funds to help families in Barton and Pawnee Counties overcome barriers like food insecurity, housing, childcare access, and more.
“At United Way, we believe that strong communities are built through connection and collaboration,” said Charell Owings, Executive Director of United Way of Central Kansas. “This league brings people together in a fun and meaningful way, while directly supporting our neighbors in need.”
League Highlights:
• Start Date: October (exact date TBA)
• When: Every other Monday for 12 weeks
• Where: Walnut Bowl & Mini Golf – Great Bend, KS
