The Barton Community College Theatre Department will hold auditions for its fall production “Time Stands Still,” by Donald Marguiles, at 6 p.m. Aug. 26-27 in the Fine Arts auditorium. All roles and technical positions will be cast.

The cast will include two male and two female characters in their 20s or 30s. The auditions will consist of cold readings, and no monologues are needed. The play is about a photojournalist who returns home from covering a war and must deal with her transition back to domestic life.

There will be multiple showings Oct. 16-19. Tickets will go on sale later in the fall and can be purchased at shows.bartonccc.edu. The production is suitable for all ages 13 and up.
