Student Library Assistant, Emma Clemons will be focusing on different seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and this will be featured in our Check It Out column. Today’s Senior Spotlight is Dallon Luker.
Dallon Luker is a senior at EHS. His family members are Mickey, Whitney, Grace, Mac, Shae Zarron, and Nixxon. His favorite book that he would recommend is “Walter The Farting Dog.” It is a children’s book with superb subliminal messaging. Walter the farting dog is at first disliked by his family for his wretched scent, until the scent also scared off thieves from the family’s house. Proving that character flaws, (smelling like farts in this case), can be a double edged sword. His favorite quote is, “High School is like riding a bike, except the floor is lava, the bike is on fire, and you are on fire” - Anonymous.
Something that Dallon has learned that made a difference to him is old people often have wisdom - listen to your 70 year olds. Something people would be surprised to know about Dallon is that his two favorite dips are artichoke and french onion. Dallon’s advice for incoming students is eat breakfast daily, it helps you start your day. We wish Dallon a great year in his senior chapter!
