Student Library Assistant, Madison Dombroski will be focusing on different seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and this will be featured in our Check It Out column. Today’s Senior Spotlight is Julia Schlessiger.
Julia Schlessiger is a senior at EHS. Her parents are Joe and Tricia Schlessiger and Taunya and BJ Beuhler. Her siblings are Cassidy, Emma, James, Brooklyn, Gracie, Anna, Bailee, Kelby, Kasch and Xzavier. Julia would recommend The Confident Mind by Dr. Nate Zessner. It is a book about how to fully become confident and can be applied in every aspect of your life. Her favorite quote is, “Life’s too short to worry about stupid stuff” by Joe. Her favorite teacher is Mr. Witt because she likes his teaching philosophy and his class provides a good challenge. Julia is involved in basketball, cheer, track, StuCo, FBLA, NHS. #ZRW, and SkillsUSA. Her advice for incoming students is to be involved! Also don’t think you’re “too cool” to participate in spirit days or activities because that is what makes school fun. And keep a good mentality about school, it is what you make of it. We wish Julia a great year in her senior chapter!
