After 81 years of ministry, King UMC voted to close doors in September. Remaining members met with district leadership to officially close. The church is located at 1608 Odell.

The official closing date is September 30. The last service is Sunday, Sept. 28. Closing plans are underway.

An invitation is made to all area Great Bend and area churches to visit the facility to view items that can be used in their ministry. Such things include video and sound equipment, altar and office items and equipment, classroom and fellowship furniture, metal chairs, bookcases, Cradle Room furniture, and toys. Many items are too numerous to list.

Most items are “give away.” A few items may ask for a donation.
