Steven and Kathy Schrater of Guthrie, Okla. will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 6, with a reception. 

The couple met in Great Bend and were married in the Manti Temple in Manti, Utah, on Dec. 4, 1975.

They moved to Roy, Utah in 1998. They then moved in 2010 to Guthrie, Okla., where they now reside.

They have four sons, Michael (Jo) of Cottonwood Falls, Kan., Jared (Kerri) of Guthrie, Okla., Kristtoffer (Deb) of Marysville, Kan., and Karsten of Wilburton, Okla. They presently have seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to attend the reception in their honor. It will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Dec. 6, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 5326 Ellie Mae Dr. and Sooner Road in Guthrie, Okla.

They currently reside at 106 Ridgecrest Dr., Guthrie, OK 73044.
