Ronnie and Christina (Gnad) Smith will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Saturday, June 7 with a card shower.

Ron and Chris were united in marriage on June 7, 1975 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Hoisington. Ron retired from Kansas Brick and Tile after working there for 51 years. Chris retired from working as Assistant to the Director at Hoisington Recreation Center after working there for eight years. They were blessed with a daughter Wendy of Shawnee who has been employed by Heartland Regional Alcohol and Drug Assessment Center for 18 1/2 years. The couple will spend time with their daughter in Shawnee.
