Student Library Assistant, Emma Clemons will be focusing on different seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and this will be featured in our Check It Out column. Today’s Senior Spotlight is Grace Sturtz.
Grace Sturtz is a senior at EHS. Her family members are her dad Tevye Sturtz, her mom Danielle Sturtz, and her brothers Jordan Blake, Drew Blake, and Logan Sturtz. Her favorite book that she would recommend is “The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue” because she found it quite interesting and read it quickly. Her favorite quote is, “Opportunity does not knock, it presents itself when you beat down the door.”-Kyle Chandler.
Grace’s favorite class was photography because she liked the ability to be able to move around and take photos. Also, because it was fun to learn about the different settings on cameras.
Grace was involved in tennis for four years, - captain for two years, band for four years, STUCO for three years, Vice President this year, cheer two years, basketball two years, NHS for one year, and track for one year.
Grace’s advice for incoming students is do not wait till the last minute to do your homework and to not be afraid to try new things or join a new club. We wish Grace a great year in her senior chapter.
