The Barton County Conservation District invites local garden enthusiasts to attend one or both of two information sessions regarding Great Bend’s newest community garden at the Great Bend Public Library.

Sunshine Community Gardens Inc. will be on hand to share what the garden is all about, how to get involved and what is coming up. 

No fee will be charged. The group will choose what to grow; instruction will be provided.

The sessions are Saturday, Jan. 10 from 10:30 to noon; and Tuesday, Jan. 13 from 4:30-6 p.m.

Both sessions will be at the Great Bend Public Library, 1409 Williams St.
