Paul and Shannon Holder from the KC metropolitan area accepted an invitation from Barton County Farm Bureau to spend a week visiting area sites related to agriculture. These photos were taken on June 19, when they toured the Stafford County Flour Mills and then joined T.R. Esfeld, who was processing cattle.

Every year in September, fourth graders spend a day on a working Barton County farm for Kids’ Ag Day. This year, Barton County Farm Bureau launched Country Connections, giving adults a chance to visit agricultural venues.
