Hoisington High School had seven students take seven events to the state forensics festival. 

Those earning One Rankings were Melody Braddy and Jaidyn Stevenson in Duet Acting, Xavier Stevenson in Poetry Reading, and Baylie Fyler with Poetry Reading and Prose Reading.

Two Rankings were earned by Campbell Husted for Prose Reading, Hunter Ney in Informative Speech, and Bodie Selfridge in Extemporaneous Speech.

In the state championship, Hoisington took six students with ten entries. Here are the results:

Calli Brown was 25th in Serious Solo Acting

Steven Demel was 27th in Poetry Reading and 30th in Informative Speech

Vada Kaiser was 20th in Original Oration. 

Jessica Lovett was 15th in  Serious Solo Acting and  24th in Informative Speech.

AJ Thurman was 26th in Humours Solo Acting. 

Brayden Stevenson was 29th in Original Oration, 13th in Extemporaneous Speech, and 4th in the state medal in Impromptu Speech.
