Kat King of Flavored Celebrations is making a massive patriotic cake in honor of America 250 that will be on display at the Great Bend Public Library from 10 a.m.–12:30 p.m. on Friday, July 3. Kansas Senator Tory Blew will be in attendance to speak about the importance of America 250 before the cake-cutting ceremony. The Library also invites the public to come make their own barbecue rub between June 29–July 3. Supplies are limited and are given on a first-come, first-served basis.
