The driver of a 2005 Ford F150 appeared to be seriously injured Tuesday in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate-70 in Russell County. Kansas Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 2, a tenth of a mile west of Bunker Hill Luray Road on westbound I-70. For an unknown reason, the truck driven by Bruce Weis, 51, of Wichita went off the roadway, tipped and overturned in the north ditch. The driver was not wearing a seat belt; he was transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
