give tuesday December 2024 numbers
Representatives of non-profit groups celebrated the $533,217 raised during the 2024 Giving Tuesday fundraiser with a group photo taken on Dec. 19, 2024. The Golden Belt Community Foundation is now taking applications from non-profits that want to be part of the 2025 Giving Tuesday on Dec. 2.

It’s not exactly Christmas in July, but the Golden Belt Community Foundation is inviting nonprofit organizations to sign up now to be included in the 12th Giving Tuesday event on Dec. 2.

In 2025, the fundraising event organized by GBCF raised a record $533,217 in charitable contributions – topping 2023’s record-breaking $300,000.

This year, the foundation is once again inviting all qualified charitable organizations in Barton, Edwards, Pawnee, Rush, and Stafford counties to participate in the giving campaign and celebration.

The first step in signing up for the first time or the 12th time is the registration form. The registration form will be shared to the GBCF Facebook page and website or stop by the office for a hard copy. Information will continue to be updated as time gets closer to Dec. 2.

Any organization that would like to sign up for this year’s Giving Tuesday campaign for the first time is asked to email mackenzie@goldenbeltcf.org or call the office to start the process and/or ask any questions.

• Any qualified charitable organization in Barton, Pawnee, Rush or Stafford counties may participate.

• Funds raised may be granted directly back to the charitable organization or added to the organization’s endowment fund – it is the organization’s choice.

• Matching funds will be awarded proportionally to organizations with GBCF endowment funds.

Organizations must opt in for Giving Tuesday by Sept. 10 in order to participate by completing their online registration form.

GBCF has an opportunity to earn up to $100,000 in funds thanks to the Patterson Family Foundation. $50,000 will be matching funds that will be used as a proportional match for those funds who have an endowment with the foundation.
