The vendor fair and food trucks will also open at 9 a.m. If anyone is interested, Gaddis said she is looking for a couple more.
At 10 a.m., the focus shifts to the east and south sides of the park and the ultimate water fight, the Kiwanis Wet and Dry Parade.
The Optimists Fun Zone will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering inflatables, temporary tattoos, and a balloon and bubble artist.
The Great Bend Police Department dunk tank will be back, and a new feature is a caricature artist coming from Kansas City.
The Shifters Car Club will have a car show from noon to five p.m.
Cornhole registration opens at 5:15 p.m. with a tournament starting at 6 at Al Burns Field.
