The Golden Belt Community Concert Association will present Sail On: The Beach Boys Tribute at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 27, at the Great Bend Municipal Auditorium, Lakin and Stone.

Sail On will perform the group’s classic hits, plus some treasures from The Beach Boys’ brilliant extended catalog. Sail On faithfully recreates the timeless songs of surfing, cruising, dancing, and dreaming for all ages, and for anybody who wants to have fun, fun, fun.

Based in Nashville, Sail On performs more than 100 shows every year enjoying the unique challenge and privilege of bringing one of pop music’s greatest legacies to audiences everywhere. Their harmonies will transport their listeners to the beach with some good vibrations.

This GBCCA event is open to association members. No single concert tickets are available. Because the association encourages young people’s interest in music and the performing arts, full-time students will be admitted for a $5 donation at the door.

Memberships are being accepted now through April 25. Anyone wishing to purchase a membership may come to the GBCCA membership headquarters at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2701 24th St., on Thursday, April 24, from noon to 7 p.m. or Friday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. After May 1, the membership dues will increase by $20 per adult. For more information call 620-793-2748.

The Golden Belt Community Concert Association and the Great Bend Recreation Commission now provide eight handicap parking spaces in front of the northeast entrance of the auditorium for every concert. Blue cones, placed at the curb before each space, will designate handicap-only parking.

Sunflower’s Catch-a-Ride does not run on weekends, so transportation to the next two concerts will not be provided for Hoisington area residents.
