The Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had seven ambulance runs. Firefighters had one false alarm; no fires were reported.

A fraudulent scam call was reported at 12:53 p.m. at 2321 13th St. 

A warrant arrest was executed at 1:13 p.m. at 20th District Court Services, 1806 12th St. Luis Anchondo was arrested on a Barton County warrant.

A domestic incident involving damage to property was reported at 1:22 p.m. at 723 Stone St. 

Theft of a barricade was reported at 2:36 p.m. at the 3200 block of Prairie Rose Dr.

A K-9 callout was utilized at a traffic stop reported at 4:30 p.m. at the 300 block of Locust St.

A battery was reported at 6:40 p.m. at 811 Grant.


Barton County Sheriff

Aug. 18

A warrant arrest was executed at 4:14 p.m. at 1809 Jackson St., Great Bend.

A theft was reported at 11:30 p.m. at All Seasons Mobile Home Park, 30 Rd U1016, Great Bend.
