Great Bend Police

A theft was reported at 8:51 a.m. at Holiday Inn Express, 3821 10th St.

A theft was reported at 10:05 a.m. at 1215 Stone St.

A non-injury accident, hit and run, was reported at 11:38 a.m. at the Center for Counseling, 5815 Broadway Ave.

A case of fraud was reported at 2:31 p.m. in the 1200 block of Hoover St. Reports being scammed out of money online. Case taken.

At 2:34 p.m. John David Carl, Jr. was served a Notice to Appear in reference to a previous hit and run accident.


Barton County Sheriff

At 2:09 p.m. the K-9 was called out during a traffic stop in the 2200 block of 24th St.

At 2:56 p.m. the K-9 was called out during a traffic stop at 24th St. and Rock Bridge Rd.

At 4:04 p.m. the K-9 was called out during a traffic stop at 24th St. and Morton St.

A traffic arrest occurred at 10:41 p.m. on NE K-156 and N U.S. 281.

A missing person/runaway was reported at 10:52 p.m.

Matthew Hapes — Great Bend Municipal Court case #24-48 for Domestic Battery on a 48-hour O.R. bond, and on Kansas Highway Patrol case #2025000588 for lnterference with Law Enforcement Officers by Order of the Court per the
