  • K-9 was called out at 2:21 a.m. to assist outside agency at 10th St. and McKinley St.

  • Possible drug activity was reported at 6:12 p.m. in the 1200 block of Ninth St.
  • A narcotics violation occurred at 7:49 p.m. in the 1000 block of Odell St. K-9 was used.
  • A pick-up on fire was reported at 8:45 p.m. at 1200 Coolidge St.
  • K-9 was called out at 11:21 to assist with a traffic stop in the 1400 block of 10th St.
  • A domestic was reported at 11:41 p.m. at 811 Grant St. Caden McGee was arrested.

June 24

  • A fire was reported at 5:44 a.m. at 1121 NW 230 Rd., Galatia.
  • Carbon Monoxide was reported at 10:22 a.m. at 135 SW 60 Ave.
  • A non-injury accident was reported at 11:13 a.m. in Barton County.
  • K-9 was called out at 10:10 p.m. to assist outside agency at 3502 10th St.

Great Bend Fire/EMS

Aug. 11

The Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had six ambulance runs. Great Bend firefighters responded to a tank battery fire at 2:38 a.m. at SW 50 road and SW 10 Ave., Great Bend. They also responded to a reported residence fire at 11:12 p.m. located at 408 NE Overland Trail, Great Bend. One false alarm was reported.

Aug. 11

K-9 Neo was utilized in a traffic stop reported at 12:08 a.m. in the 1000 block of Jefferson. Kyle Stout was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:42 a.m. at Broadway Ave. and Harrison St.

A theft of a cell phone was reported at 10:02 a.m. at 2925 Gano.

A narcotics violation was reported at 1:25 p.m. at the Family Crisis Center.

A criminal damage to vehicle was reported at 2:45 p.m. at Dollar Tree, 3502 10th St.

A battery was reported at 2:58 p.m. at Stone Lake, 2501 Railroad Ave.

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:14 p.m. at 1418 18th St.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 7:54 p.m. at Walmart, 3503 10th St.

A two-vehicle non-injury crash was reported at 8:52 p.m. at 10th and McKinley.

Aug. 11

An interference with law enforcement officer was reported at 3:54 p.m. at the 1200 block of Harrison St., Great Bend.

Kyle Stout – Possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $10,000 cash or surety. Also booked for two counts of contempt of court, indirect. Bond set at no bond. 

Madison Crawford – Probation violation, bond set at $10,000 cash or surety. Also failure to appear, bond set at $5,000 cash or surety.

William H. Blake – Serve sentence. Bond set at no bond.

Elane Carcamo – No driver’s license, expired tags, no insurance

Blake R. Robinson – Probation violation
