Great Bend Fire & EMS

Feb. 27 – 10 EMS calls, 1 false alarm and 1 report of a small ditch fire.  Call came in at 4:10 p.m. and was near SW 50 RD and S. Washington Ave.

Feb. 28 – 10 EMS calls, 1 report of smoke in the 1000 blk of Jackson at 8:38 p.m.  No fire found upon arrival. One call for a CO check – Kansas Gas was notified.

Mar. 1 – 4 EMS calls

Mar 2 – 12 EMS calls, 3 Fire calls – 1) Called to a small grass fire in the 2200 Blk of Jackson at 12:11 a.m., 2) Report of ditch fire in the area of 200 blk of N 281 Highway at 8:11 p.m., 3) Called to a vehicle fire, the was no fire upon arrival.   


Great Bend Police

Mar. 3

A fight was reported at 12:20 p.m. at 1809 Madison St. Officers responded to aggravated assault. Case taken.

An aggravated assault was reported at 12:57 p.m. at 3006 23rd St. Case taken.

An injury accident was reported at 1:23 p.m. in the 2800 block of 19th St.

At 2:12 p.m. officers responded to a commercial burglary alarm at Xpress Wellness Urgent Care.


Mar. 4

Battery was reported at 8:27 a.m. at Kwik Shop, 3907 Broadway Ave.

A juvenile complaint was reported at 10:01 a.m.

A case of identity theft was reported at 10:01 a.m. at 6000 16th St. Terr.

A juvenile compliant was reported at 11:03 a.m.

A non-injury accident was reported at 11:59 a.m. in the 3500 block of 10th St.

A case of harassment was reported at 12:52 p.m. in the 1700 block of Morton St.

A dog at large was reported at 4:10 p.m. in the 2200 block of 29th St. Humane Society picked up the dog.

At 6:05 p.m. Alan Wilkerson was trespassed from Verizon Wireless, 3407 10th St.

A domestic was reported at 10:24 p.m. in the 500 block of Morphy St. A domestic criminal damage case made and notice to appear was signed with Aiden Hernandez the suspect.

 

Barton County Sheriff

Mar. 3

A theft was reported at 8:23 a.m. at Stone Sand Company, 421 Washington St.

A warrant arrest occurred at 11:04 a.m. at Barton County Detention.

A burglary not in progress was reported at 2:52 p.m. at 1097 NE 180 Rd., Claflin.

Criminal damage was reported at 7:22 p.m. at Barton County Detention.

A non-injury accident was reported at 5:18 p.m.
