Great Bend Fire/EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had five ambulance runs on Friday, three on Saturday and eight on Sunday. 

Firefighters responded to an illegal burn on Friday at 9:04 p.m. in the 400 block of Walnut Street.

A narcotics violation was reported at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of Macarthur Road.

A domestic incident was reported at 1:35 p.m. Saturday at 2006 McKinley.

A theft was reported at 5:46 p.m. at Buff Car Wash, 4800 10th St.

Barton County Sheriff

A K-9 callout was utilized on a traffic stop reported at 2:06 a.m. Friday at S. Main St. and Missouri Pacific St., Hoisington.

A K-9 callout was utilized at a narcotics violation was reported at 1:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Macarthur Road, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:52 a.m. Saturday at 294 W. U.S. 56, Great Bend.

A domestic incident was reported at 12:02 p.m. at 624 W. U.S. 56, Pawnee Rock.

A fatality injury crash was reported at 5:10 p.m. at the diversion dam, 463 SW 60 Ave., Great Bend.

An outside agency assisted was requested at 2:30 a.m. Sunday for a fight reported at 1:49 a.m. at Charlie’s Place, 1109 Main St., Great Bend.

A theft was reported at 5:46 p.m. at Buff Car Wash, 4800 10th St., Great Bend.

A domestic incident was reported at 11:07 p.m. at 147 NE 70 Ave., Great Bend.
