Great Bend Fire/EMS

EMS made six ambulance runs on Thursday.

A trash dumpster fire was reported at the Walnut bowl at 3:49 p.m. 

There was a report of a fire in the 100 block of North U.S. 281 at 10:07 a.m. Thursday.

There was a report of a pole on fire at the 300 block of NW 40 Road at 7:07 p.m. Thursday.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury crash was reported at 1623 Harrison St. at 8:18 a.m. on Thursday.

GBFD reports finding a firearm during dive training at Stone Lake, 2501 Railroad Ave., on Thursday.

Theft of a gas can at 2421 Cheyenne Dr. was reported.

A burglary in progress at 218 Pine St. was reported at 2:07 p.m. when someone was crawling into a window at the residence.

A sex offense was reported at 2:57 p.m. 

At 4:13 p.m., a known person was reportedly intoxicated and said he was running from the cops. Later, he was banging on the door to the KBI. He was picked up by his father at 4:56 p.m.

A runaway juvenile was located at 1:13 a.m. on Friday.

A theft at 209 Hubbard St. was reported at 4:37 a.m. on Friday.

A report of criminal damage at 1102 Kansas Ave was reported at 7:58 a.m. on Friday


Barton County Sheriff

A warrant arrest was executed at 301 Hoisington St. in Susank at 9:19 a.m. on Thursday.

A burglary in progress was reported at 3:55 a.m. Friday at 517 Crestview Dr. in Hoisington.
