Anita Kay Stos, 78, passed away on Sept. 22, 2025. Anita was born on June 21, 1947 in Wichita, Kan. to parents Theron and Doris (Burnette) McPhail. 

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Theron and Doris McPhail; husband, Joseph C. Stos; and son, Steven H. Graves.

Anita is survived by her long-term loving partner, Greg Saffa; sisters, Judy Sternberger and Sharlet McKinney of Ponca City, Okla.; son, Joseph C. Stos II; daugher, Angela Rocha and husband Greg of Dodge City; grandchildren, Nichole, Gregory, and Margarita; and seven great-grand children. 

Anita’s last employment along with her rental business was the Credit Union of America. After retiring, Anita enjoyed staying busy at the Eagles Club planning parties, decorating for the holidays, and preparing meals. 

Cremation has been chosen. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 3,2025 at Hillcrest Cemetery, 19 NW 50 Rd, Great Bend, KS with Chaplain Jeff Johnson officiating.
