Beatina Weber, 92, passed away Oct. 25, 2025, at her home in Great Bend, Kan. She was born on Feb. 2, 1933, in Hays, Kan., to Jacob and Otillia (Bittel) Kinderknecht. On April 22, 1952, she married Lawrence Weber at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ellis, Kan. He passed on July 22, 1998.
A resident of Great Bend, Beatina worked in food services for USD 428 and was a CNA. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima, Altar Society, and lifetime member and past president of the VFW Post 9139 Ladies Auxiliary in Ellis. Beatina loved sewing, puzzles, bird watching and nature. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include three daughters, Marilyn Selle (Allen) of Great Bend, Wanda Weber of Hoisington, and Connie Eulert (Bret) of Great Bend; daughter-in-law, Terri Weber of Hutchinson; special daughter, Carolyn Gray of Great Bend; nine grandchildren, Eric, Kaley (Chris), Jayci (Denzel), Scott (Megan), Kenton (Leah), Kyle (Nicole), Sierra (Ben), Sara, and Jessica (Mike); nine great grandchildren, Madelyn, Kolton, Chase, Abigail, John, Lucy, Catherine, Ellie, and Gemma; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Steve and Alan; eight brothers, Eugene, Walter, Herman, Richard, Charlie, Ralph, Victor, and Alan; and three sisters, Regina, Lillian, and Ione.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, with Father Prakash Kola presiding. Interment will follow at Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025, with Altar Society Rosary at 4 p.m., family receiving guests from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Vigil service at 7 p.m., all at Bryant Funeral Home.
