Curtis Dean Hicks, 64, died May 6, 2025 at Bel Villa Assisted Living, Andover. He was born Aug. 25, 1960, at WaKeeney, the son of Marvin Warren and Sharon Kay (Eckert) Hicks.

Survivors include his mother, Sharon Hicks, Great Bend; two sons, Christopher Hicks and wife Stacey, Derby; and Cory Hicks and  Amanda, Houston, Texas; one sister, Paula Kay Spofford and husband Jim, Conway, N.H.; one brother, Doug Hicks and wife Vicki, Hays; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin; two nephews, Blake Ericcson and Josh Hicks; and grandparents, Leonard “Chick” and Alice Eckert and J.R. and Lilly Hicks.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Great Bend.
