DIAMONDHEAD, Miss. — Donald Wayne Crosby, a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on July 16, 2025, in Gulfport, Mississippi, at the age of 77, surrounded by his loving family. A proud Marine, Donald served honorably in the Vietnam War.

Born on July 23, 1947, in Great Bend, Kan., the son of H.E. “Jack” and Betty Crosby, who preceded him in death. He also mourned the loss of his sister, Kathryn Wilson.

Donald is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Jo Ann Crosby, affectionately known as“Jodi,” who was his steadfast partner throughout life’s journey. He is also survived by his daughter, Georganne Elemond (Bryce). He leaves behind a legacy of love through his sibling, Edward Crosby, Steven Crosby, Larry Crosby, Jackie Reed, and Sherry Peschka. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by numerous nieces and nephews, each of whom carries a piece of his spirit in their hearts.

Celebration of Life is Aug. 7th from 2 – 5 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, 1004 West 8th, Larned, Kan.
