Theresa Ann Oborny, 63, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025, at Ascension Via Christi in Wichita, Kan. She was born May 8, 1962, to John C. and Pauline (Felder) Oborny in Great Bend. 

Theresa was very involved with Sunflower Diversified and made many friends. She enjoyed house keeping. She loved a good game of bowling with family and friends. Her athleticism was shown participating in the Special Olympics. She had a very creative side and enjoyed creating with latch hook. She loved holding babies and going to church but, above all, loved spending time with her family.

Theresa is survived by her siblings, Connie Sperberg, John A. (Carolyn) Oborny, Marietta (Chuck) Jones, Mark (Cathy) Oborny, Rosemary Wiley and Louis (Jennifer) Oborny. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Charles and Pauline Frances Oborny.  

Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, May 19, 2025, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary in Wichita. Rosary will be at 10 a.m., and a Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m., both on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Wichita. Graveside Service will be at 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2025, with Father Prakash Kola presiding, at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Great Bend, Kan. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be given to Starkey, Inc., in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS  67530. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
