Thomas H. ‘Butch’ Elffner, Jr., 80, passed way Sept. 27, 2025, at Bright Home Plus in Wichita, Kan. He was born on Jan. 25, 1945, to Thomas ‘Tom’ Sr. and Kathleen ‘Dixie’ Elffner.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Great Bend, with Father Amirtharajan Duraisamy presiding. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025, at Graceland Cemetery, Meade, Kan.  Visitation will be noon to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025, with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m., at Bryant Funeral Home.
