To the voters of Great Bend:

I am writing to ask the voters of Great Bend to support Alan Moeder in his election for mayor. As a prior member of the City Council I served under three different mayors and have discovered firsthand what makes a good mayor. A good mayor has certain qualities that make both the City Council and the city staff both work well. Alan has those qualities. He has put those qualities in action while serving on the City Council, proving that he understands the role and the need to be involved not just when it is convenient. 

This election is critical to the next several years of our community. We need a proven leader to keep our community moving forward. Someone that can work with city staff, listen to public input and guide common sense decisions by the City Council. We do not need a mayor driven by special interests or perceived ideals. Alan is the best choice and I hope you will join me in voting for Alan Moeder in our upcoming local election.
