Brent Moss rescued the No. 2 Barton Cougars 75-72 past Northern Oklahoma-Enid with 27 points and 15 rebounds in Friday's Best Western/Booster Club Classic.
Moss secured the victory with a pair of free throws for the Cougars (4-0).
Enid's Riley Shore missed the potential go-ahead basket and tying 3-pointer in the final minute.
Cougar point guard Keandre Kindell dished out seven assists to go with 12 points. The Cougars converted 30 of 35 free throws in the victory.
Northern Oklahoma (4-2) was led by Oryne Stewart with18 points and Dontell Yearby and Jordan England added 11 apiece.
