Great Bend Bat Cat Catcher Luke Nohinek doubled twice, singled, scored three runs and drove home three runs to spark a 14-2 rout over the Dodge City A's Wednesday.

Peanut Brazzle drilled a leadoff homer, doubled and drove home two runs. Great Bend's Tyler Clementz and J.J. Fontana each drove home two runs.

The Bat Cats (10-7) scored runs in all six innings to dominate the A's after starting the season 0-2 against Dodge City.

Kyle Walker scored on Fontana's grounder and Deacon Pomeroy scored on Nohinek's sacrifice fly for a 3-1 lead. Joey Marker scored on a Brazzle second-inning double. Nohinek's double scored Fontana for a 5-2 lead.

The Bat Cats pounded out nine runs in the next three frames. Walker's double scored Marker and Pomeroy's single scored Walker for a 7-2 lead. Clementz scored on Fontana's double and Nohinek's double scored Fontana for a 9-2 lead.

Clementz' 2-run double scored Brazzle and Walker to ignite a 5-run sixth inning. Pomeroy and Clementz and Nohinek all scored on wild pitches for a 14-2 lead. 

Dodge City's Matt Perez hit a first-inning sacrifice fly to score Ed Gregory. Cade Culbreth singled home Dominic Roberts in the third inning.
