HOISINGTON — Hoisington's softball team rolled past Ellinwood 11-1 and 14-4 in Friday's non-league games.

HOISINGTON 11, ELLINWOOD 1 (G1) — Brynn Tarlton (2-0) struck out nine batters while driving home two runs with three hits and scoring three runs.

HOISINGTON 14, ELLINWOOD 4 (G2) — Reece Alyward homered twice and drove home five runs. Myah Frederking also hit a 2-run homer.

Hoisington pitcher Audree Martin struck out eight batters.
