HOISINGTON — Ellinwood seniors Kyndal Moore and Regan Widener completed a 4-year run through the Central Prairie League with a dominating 25-20, 25-9 championship victory over St. John. No. 1 ranked 2A Ellinwood is unbeaten against Central Prairie League foes the past four years. Ellinwood (35-0) will start postseason at home against Hutchinson Trinity ((32-4).

In the semifinals, Ellinwood downed Victoia, 25-6, 25-7 and St. John beat Central Plains, 25-13, 25-15. Victoria edged Central Plains 25-18, 20-25, 25-10 for third place.
