Great Bend's softball team fine tuned their offense with a dominating 16-1 Western Athletic Conference victory over Dodge City. The Panthers ended Tuesday's game with a 13-run third inning.

Panther pitchers Braelyn Turner and Chayla Prendergast combined for a 3-inning no-hitter. Dodge City's Alea Smith scored on a third-inning error.

The Panthers (11-1, 6-0 WAC) have swept Dodge City and Liberal, the two worst teams in the WAC. Great Bend faces a 4-game challenge at Dodge City Thursday and Friday with WAC contenders Hays High and Garden City ahead on the schedule.

Kya Behr homered, doubled and singled twice while driving home four runs. DeShawnna Bryant doubled and drove home three runs. Alyssa McCauley doubled three times with two runs scored and two RBI.

Also driving home runs were Camdyn Post, Callie Umphres, Braelyn Turner and Chayla Prendergast.
