cLARNED  — The Larned/La Crosse Indians extended their winning streak to nine games 8-6 before losing 7-4 to Russell/Victoria Tuesday.

LARNED 8, RUSSELL 6 (G1) — Larned's red-hot reliever Carson Shaver earned the victory with three shutout innings.  Deacon Martin drove in three runs.

Camden Bird's RBI single scoring Mason Miller ignited a 5-run second inning. Tristan Regan's double scored Bird. Corbyn Nance scored on Shaver's single. Regan and Shaver scored on Martin's single for a 5-1 lead. Miller scored on an error for a 6-2 lead.

Russell rallied for a 6-6 tie.
