Larned's Ariana Meyer earns golf medals

HUTCHINSON — Larned Indian Ariana Meyer (96) continues to excel with a third-place medal at Tuesday's Central Kansas League golf tournament at Crazy Horse Golf Course. Golfers were greeted by 65-degree temperatures, winds under 10 mph and wet fairways that allowed clean and place.

Larned (442) placed third by also counting scores by 5th-place Taeten Reynolds (100), 10th-place Khloe Smith (114) and 21st-place finishers Addison Townsend (132) and Temperance Donecker (132).

Hesston medalist Maci Kramer (86) and Wendy Roth (88) finished first and second for the team champion Swathers (382).

Alaina Rubio (122) led Hoisington with a 14th-place finish.

Indians' Meyer places 7th

HAYS — Larned's Ariana Meyer (95) tuned up for the Central Kansas League golf tournament with a seventh-place finish at Monday's Hays Thomas More tournament at Smoky Hill Country Club.

Larned (434) finished fourth, also counting 11th-place Taeten Reynolds (102); 23rd-place Khloe Smith (117); and 28th-place Addison Townsend (121).

Concordia (363) won the team title paced by medalist Mya Neiheus (77) with a pair of birdies.
