BELOIT — Larned's Legion baseball team broke loose for a 16-11 second game victory over Beloit after tying the opener 8-8.

LARNED 16, BELOIT 11 (G2) — Mason Miller drove home three runs as Larned rallied from an 11-10 deficit with a 6-run fifth inning. Carson Shaver earned the victory with five strikeouts in 21/3 innings. 

Tristan Regan singled home Owen Shaver for an 11-11 tie. Carson Shaver scored on  bases-loaded hit batter. Deacon Martin scored on a bases-loaded walk. Ian Gilliand's single scored Regan. Cooper Herbert singled home Reese Morgan and Miller.

Regan and Morgan also drove home two runs. Owen Shaver, Antonio Torres, Eli Morgan and Hunter Hobbs also drove in runs.

Beloit's Ashton Bletschner and Joel Fuller each drove in two runs.

LARNED 8, BELOIT 8 (G1 TIE) — Larned scored six runs in the final two innings for an 8-8 tie after five innings.

Larned's Gilliland drove in two runs. Eli Morgan, Reese Morgan and Carson Shaver each drove in one run.

Beloit's Fuller, Ryker Clark and Riley Hilt each drove in two runs.
