OTIS-BISON 54, ELLINWOOD 46 — Otis-Bison's boys surprised Ellinwood 54-46 by outscoring the Eagles 15 points after trailing by 10 points in Friday's Central Prairie League basketball game.
Cougars Kelson Juno (15), Maddox Firebaugh (12), Louis McVey (11) and Kolten Cory (10) scored in double figures and Cory hauled down 11 rebounds. The Cougars (12-11) play Pawnee Heights Feb. 23 in the 1A Colby substate.
Ellinwood's Drake Hosman scored 22 points with six 3-pointers. After scorching the home nets recently, Ellinwood had a cold overall shooting night.
