Panthers' Miessler shoots career low

SALINA — Great Bend's Kylee Miessler (91) placed 19th in Tuesday's Salina Central golf tournament at Salina Municipal Golf Course.

The Panthers (484) counted scores by 54th Keilee Gerhardt (122); 59th Sammy Fleming (130); 62nd Ella Nokes (141).

"Kylee Miessler shot her best 18-hole score of her high school career with a 91," said Great Bend girls golf coach MacKenzie Nelson. "We are seeing a lot of growth in our course management as well as the short game. Our freshmen golfers finished strong completing their second 18 holes ever."

Manhattan's medalist Maddie Myers (68) earned medalist honors with four birdies.
