Tiger track qualifies five

ST. JOHN 62, KINSLEY 36—Emmett Delp threw down three slam dunks in a brilliant 30-point effort that sparked the Tigers past Kinsley 62-36 in the Spearville substate. Braxton Alpers added 12 points. The Tigers led 36-17 at halftime.

St. John (18-6) plays at South Central (17-6) at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Spearville 1A semifinals.

Kinsley's Joey Preito scored 15 points and Ty Clawson added 11 points.
