Stafford girls rally past South Barber

STAFFORD GIRLS 45, SOUTH BARBER 42  Stafford outscored South Barber 23-11 in the fourth quarter for a 45-42 comeback victory in a Heart of the Plains basketball game.

Ariana Delgadillo scored 17 points and Emily Delgadillo added 14 points. Peyton Roush scored 10 points with a trio of 3-pointers.

"It wasn't pretty, but the girls never gave up," said Stafford coach Nick Minks. "We missed our point guard Rylee Ferguson. But Roush hit 3 of 5 from deep and we made 18 free throws."

South Barber (3-13) was led by Kenslea Schupbach with 18 points and Lily Schurter with 14 points.
