Golden Belt Humane Society Photo fundraiser

Golden Belt Humane Society is offering professional pet photos as a fundraising project. It is sponsored by Chelsea Mitchell Photography, 1217 Main St. in Great Bend. Mitchell will be assisted by the photography studio’s former owner, Dale Riggs, in photographing pets. The cost is $25 for two five-by-seven prints and four wallet-size prints. All proceeds go to the care of the shelter animals.

Photo session times are available on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. and on Sunday, Dec. 3 from 1-4 p.m. To schedule a session call Jean Clair, 620-786-5955.

Armed robbery reported at Kwik Shop

An armed robbery was reported at 2:39 a.m. Tuesday at the Kwik Shop located at 3907 Broadway Ave.

An armed robbery was reported at 2:39 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, at Kwik Shop, 3907 Broadway Ave. The Great Bend Police Department later released a surveillance photo of a male wearing a light gray hoodie, ball cap and face mask. It was reported that the subject was “larger build.”
