Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service answered two calls on Friday, 12 on Saturday and six on Sunday. There was one smoke detector activation on Sunday but no fire was found.

A burglary in progress was reported at 6:52 p.m. at 1200 Polk St. A door frame was damaged.

Theft of a license plate was reported at 2:48 p.m. at 452 Dogwood St. It was located at 4:51 p.m. Saturday.

A burglary in progress was reported at 7:36 p.m. at 416 Locust St.

A theft was reported at 9:34 p.m. at Walmart.

A non-injury accident was reported at 11:40 p.m. at McDonald’s.

A battery was reported at 1:08 a.m. Saturday at 1715 Morphy St.

A theft was reported at 9:23 p.m. at 3715 19th St.

A non-injury accident was reported at 10:03 p.m. at 2701 Lakin Ave.

A theft was reported at 10:26 p.m. at 3715 19th St.

There were fireworks complaints in the 1600 block of 16th St. at 2:10 a.m. Sunday, at 23rd and Jackson at 2:23 a.m. and in the 2900 block of 25th St. at 3:20 a.m.

Bomb threats were made at 2:14 a.m. at the Great Bend Brit Spaugh Zoo & Raptor Center and Brit Spaugh Park.

An injury accident was reported at 5:13 p.m. in the 800 block of 10th St.

A burglary not in progress was reported at 1:58 a.m. Monday at 219 Maple St.

A bomb threat was reported at 2:15 a.m. Sunday and again at 4:23 a.m. Sunday at Brit Spaugh Park, 2201 Main.

A non-injury accident was reported at 5:17 p.m. on NW K-96 at mile marker 174.

An assault was reported at 5:37 p.m. at 709 Barton St., Pawnee Rock.

A fire was reported at 9 p.m. in the 1300 block of NW 40 Road, Albert.

A non-injury accident was reported at 10:10 p.m. in the 600 block of North U.S. 281, Hoisington.
