Melvin Raymond Birzer, 75, passed away May 22, 2026, surrounded by his family at his home in Great Bend, Kan. He was born on June 25, 1950, in Great Bend, to Lawrence and Catherine Rose (Esfeld) Birzer. On April 14, 1972, he married Twila Crockett at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Ellinwood, Kan.
