ROSE HILL — John D. Binder, 82, died Feb. 11, 2025. He was born March 6, 1942, in Hays, Kan., the son of Paul and Helen (Hawks) Binder.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janis Binder of Rose Hill; a brother, Jerry Binder of Eugene, Ore. and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jim Binder; and a sister, Gladys R. Gardner.

Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Diana Webster presiding. Burial will follow in Hoisington Cemetery with military honors conducted by the United States Navy Honor Guard.
