Judy Lynne Christiansen, 76, went to be with her heavenly Father, Feb. 3, 2025, in Great Bend, Kan. She was born Sept. 9, 1948, in Great Bend to Larry and Helen (McMullen) Green.

Judy married Gary Jerome Christiansen Dec. 1, 1992, in Great Bend. He preceded her in death Sept. 3, 2011. Judy worked for Venture transferring needed materials to areas for construction. She was very social and enjoyed fellowship with her friends. She was very active at the Great Bend Rec Center, taking Tai Chi and Yoga classes. She loved being surrounded by friends at the Eagle’s. 

Survivors include stepsons, Shawn Christiansen of Texas, Nick Christiansen of Great Bend; step grandchildren, Christopher Christiansen, Gage Christiansen, and Desteny English; many cousins; and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A celebration of life will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., March 1, 2025, at Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1024 Main St., Great Bend. Memorials have been designated to Golden Belt Humane Society, Youth Crew, or Family Crisis Center, Inc., in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
