ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Shirley L. Desemo passed peacefully on Oct. 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family in Albuquerque, N.M. Born May 4, 1936, in Larned, Kan., she lived a full and vibrant life marked by love, family, friendship, and adventure.

Her light will continue to shine – gentle, warm and everlasting.

She is survived by her children Dan Desemo, Jennifer Turk, and Ann Baca; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Debi Desemo and other beloved family members.
