Taegan Eskam led Cimarron with 14 points.

Lydia Reed led the Tigers with 12 points and outstanding interior defense. Reagan Bonner scored 11 points and hustling defense.

Larned's Karley Lemuz and Jadyn Crosby each scored eight points.

LITTLE RIVER 45, LARNED 43 —Little River's Jaren Garrison converted the go-ahead 3-pointer for a 45-43 Midwinter Classic victory over Larned. Larned's Anthony Gonzalez hit a 3-pointer for a 41-37 lead, but Logan Renken and Garrison hit 3-pointers for a 44-43 lead.

Larned's Andres Martinez scored 11 points and Kylier Greene added 10 points.

MACKSVILLE 64, CIMARRON 57 — Macksville's triple threat featured Diego Esparza (16), Nolan Adams (17) and Hector Gomez (17) delivered a hard-fought 64-57 victory over Cimarron in the Midwinter Classic first round.

Adams grabbed 14 rebounds. Esparza dished out nine assists.
